A 39-year-old Gloucester City man is facing two counts of attempted murder after police say he poured lighter fluid inside a Ridgeway Street home and onto two people early Thursday morning. Gloucester City police responded to a residence in the 600 block of Ridgeway Street at about 1 a.m. on Sept. 3 after receiving information about the incident. The two people inside the home were able to get out safely before officers arrived, while the suspect remained inside the residence. A 14-year-old boy was playing video games in his bedroom when a woman allegedly entered carrying a baseball bat and a knife before stabbing him several times, according to court documents. The incident happened Sept. 2 at a home in the 400 block of Nordstrom Street in El Paso’s Upper Valley.
