A man has died after being pulled unresponsive from the water off Hallandale Beach on Friday morning, according to local police. Hallandale Beach police told CBS News Miami that officers responded to the 1800 block of South Ocean Drive just after 9:30 a.m. following reports of an unresponsive person in the water who appeared to have been diving. Hallandale Beach Ocean Rescue crews pulled the man from the water and immediately began lifesaving measures. A driver escaped injury early Friday after his car was hit by multiple rounds during a shooting on Northwest 7th Avenue in Miami’s Liberty City area, and he told police the gunfire was aimed directly at him.
