MAYS LANDING, N.J. — A Piscataway man has pleaded guilty to a drug distribution charge stemming from a traffic stop in Atlantic City earlier this year, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office. Colvin Cumberbatch, 43, entered his guilty plea last Thursday to third-degree possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance. DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, N.J. — A 21-year-old Manhattan man was arrested Friday after he allegedly grabbed a juvenile girl inappropriately in Denville Township and then tried to leave the area in an Uber, according to police. Denville police responded at about 4:20 p.m. Aug. 21 to a report involving a juvenile female who told authorities she had been inappropriately grabbed by an adult male. CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Four people were arrested after a Sunday evening confrontation involving two vehicles in Cedar Rapids escalated into a chase, reports of gunfire and a crash, according to police. A 4-year-old girl was inside one of the vehicles during the incident. Cedar Rapids police were called shortly after 7:30 p.m. following multiple 911 reports of two vehicles chasing each other and shots being fired. MUSCATINE, Iowa — A 38-year-old Coralville man was arrested Monday after police said he allegedly robbed a U.S. Bank branch in Muscatine. Officers with the Muscatine Police Department responded to the U.S. Bank at 1800 Park Ave. at about 9:05 a.m. after receiving a report of the robbery. Police said the suspect had already left the area when officers arrived. WARWICK, R.I. — A truck rollover caused significant traffic delays on Interstate 95 southbound in Warwick Monday morning, with multiple lanes blocked near the T.F. Green Airport exit. WILLINGTON, Conn. — A 23-year-old Willington man was arrested Sunday after Connecticut State Police responded to an automatic crash notification and found a damaged pickup truck on Trask Road, according to police. UNCASVILLE, Conn. — Dustin Tanta-Quidgeon was starting to feel that his life was finally moving in the right direction when he was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Groton, according to his family. Tanta-Quidgeon, 39, of Uncasville, died Aug. 7 after being struck by a vehicle on Toll Gate Road near Crawford Lane. Witnesses told police the vehicle, described as a black SUV, left the scene after the crash. A 41-year-old Johnston man is facing DUI and chemical-test refusal charges after a Sunday evening crash involving a motorcycle and an Acura on Central Avenue, according to Johnston police. Officers responded around 6:30 p.m. to the area of 436 Central Avenue after receiving a report of the collision. Police said a Honda motorcycle traveling east collided with an Acura TLX traveling west. The motorcyclist was taken to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment.
