A 33-year-old man was shot during a gunpoint robbery inside a Bronx deli early Tuesday, and police are searching for the gunman captured on surveillance video during the attack. CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A 14-year-old boy was airlifted to a Morgantown hospital Monday afternoon after crashing an E-bike at a downtown Clarksburg parking garage and falling onto the roof of a nearby building. The crash happened at the Clarksburg parking garage between Hewes Avenue and U.S. Route 50. MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — A Hagerstown, Maryland, man has been sentenced to 210 months, or 17 years and six months, in federal prison for his role in an online drug trafficking operation that sold counterfeit pills containing fentanyl. Christion Sayyid Gill, 27, was sentenced Monday, Aug. 24, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of West Virginia. Prosecutors said Gill and his codefendants operated what investigators described as a highly organized digital drug marketplace. RIVESVILLE, W.Va. — Two Rivesville residents were arrested after a deputy responding to a well-being check found several malnourished animals and a dead dog inside an apartment, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Department. WORCESTER, Mass. — Karen Solomon, a mental health advocate who was being sought in connection with the death of her husband, Worcester police officer Kurt Solomon, was found dead Monday after nearly a week of searching, authorities said. A fire in a Grand Prairie commercial parking lot damaged 45 cars Sunday afternoon, while firefighters worked in record-breaking heat to keep the flames from reaching nearby buildings, officials said. DELRAN, N.J. — A woman is missing in the Delaware River after entering the water Monday afternoon to help rescue a girl who was struggling near Amico Island Park, authorities said.
