Authorities are searching for 44-year-old Jerome Woody after he escaped custody from a hospital room in Marysville early Sunday morning. The Sutter County Sheriff’s Office said Woody escaped from Adventist Health Rideout Hospital shortly before 4 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 23. Two people were killed Saturday morning in Mays Landing when a stolen vehicle crashed head-on into another vehicle, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office. The crash happened around 7:30 a.m. Aug. 22 near Route 50 and Third Street in the Mays Landing section of Hamilton Township.
