An attempted bank robbery in Chicago’s Chinatown ended with a suspect being taken into custody Wednesday morning, according to the FBI.
The incident was reported around 10:40 a.m. at a U.S. Bank branch in the 2100 block of South China Place. The attempt was brief, and authorities were able to quickly arrest the person suspected of being involved.
No physical injuries were reported following the incident. The FBI noted that while no one was physically hurt, bank robbery incidents can still have a lasting emotional impact on employees who experience them.
