A man was injured in a shooting along Highway 100 in St. Louis Park Wednesday evening, prompting a temporary closure of the southbound lanes as police investigated.
Officers were called to the area of Highway 100 and Highway 7 at about 6 p.m. on Sept. 30 after reports of a shooting. Police found an adult man suffering from a gunshot wound. His injury was considered non-life-threatening.
Investigators recovered evidence from the scene and believe the shooting involved occupants of multiple vehicles. Police have not publicly released additional details about what led to the confrontation or identified anyone involved. The investigation remains active.
Southbound Highway 100 was temporarily closed while officers responded and worked at the scene. The closure was connected to the police investigation.
