A motorcyclist was critically injured late Monday night after crashing into a concrete barrier and going over the edge of an overpass where Interstate 95 meets I-676 in Philadelphia’s Northern Liberties neighborhood.
The crash happened around 11 p.m., according to police. Investigators said the motorcycle struck a concrete barrier in the area of the I-95 and I-676 interchange, sending the rider over the barrier.
The rider was taken to a hospital following the crash and was listed in critical condition. Officials had not released the rider’s name or other identifying information as of the latest update.
