A person was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after being stabbed Wednesday night in Boston’s Roslindale neighborhood, prompting an active police investigation.
Boston police were called to 4003 Washington Street shortly after 9 p.m. following a report of a stabbing. Officers who arrived at the scene found a person suffering from a stab wound.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police said the injuries were considered life-threatening.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene as investigators worked to determine what led to the stabbing. Police activity remained visible around the area, with portions of the parking lot at an Enterprise Rent-A-Car location blocked off by police tape.
The department’s drone unit also assisted officers during the response.
As of the latest information available Thursday, no arrests had been announced. Police have not released additional details about a possible suspect or what may have led to the stabbing.
