A 16-year-old boy died after he was shot in the neck Wednesday night in Chicago’s South Loop, police said.
The shooting happened shortly after 9 p.m. in the 1100 block of South Michigan Avenue. Officers found the teen suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck, according to Chicago police.
He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious condition. He later died from his injuries.
