A person is in critical condition after a shooting at Dugout Billiards in East Hartford early Sunday morning, police said.
Officers were called to the pool hall at 1111 Burnside Avenue shortly before 2 a.m. after receiving a report of a disturbance. Police said the situation escalated to gunfire, leaving one person with a gunshot wound.
The injured person was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and remained in critical condition, according to police.
The shooting is being investigated by East Hartford police. As of Sunday afternoon, no arrests had been announced.
Police have not released additional information about what led to the shooting or identified a suspect. The investigation remains active, and additional details are expected as investigators continue working to determine what happened.
