A 48-year-old man was left in critical condition after being shot in the neck Friday evening in Philadelphia’s Frankford neighborhood, according to police.
The shooting occurred around 7:15 p.m. on the 3700 block of Jasper Street. Officers responding to the scene found that the man had suffered a gunshot wound to his neck.
Emergency responders transported the victim to Temple University Hospital for treatment. He was listed in critical condition following the shooting.
