At least 11 people were injured in separate shootings across Baltimore over the weekend, including a 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man, according to Baltimore police.

Police responded to at least 10 shooting incidents between Friday morning and Sunday morning. All 11 people injured are expected to survive, authorities said.

The shootings were reported in several parts of the city, with a particularly busy stretch occurring early Sunday when four separate incidents were reported within roughly an hour.

One of the first Sunday shootings happened around 1:09 a.m. in the 1200 block of Ashland Avenue, where a 21-year-old man was shot. About 30 minutes later, police responded to the 2300 block of Baker Street in West Baltimore, where a 29-year-old man was injured.

Shortly after 2 a.m., officers were called to the area of E. Cross Street and E. Charles Street. A 17-year-old boy and a 26-year-old man were found with gunshot wounds. Minutes later, around 2:07 a.m., a 23-year-old man was injured in a shooting in an alley.

Later Sunday, a 33-year-old man was taken to a hospital in stable condition after being shot in the 4000 block of Fairhaven Avenue. Police are also investigating a shooting connected to a fight inside a Curtis Bay corner store. Video from inside the store showed a confrontation in which one person appeared to be holding a gun.

Several other shootings were reported Saturday.

An 18-year-old man was shot in the 3300 block of Alto Road. Baltimore police later confirmed that the victim suffered an apparent gunshot wound and was taken to a hospital with a non-life-threatening injury. A 31-year-old man was also injured in a shooting in the 2500 block of E. Oliver Street, while a 44-year-old man was shot in the 3200 block of Round Road.

Police also investigated two shootings reported Friday. A 32-year-old man was found with apparent gunshot wounds in the 5400 block of Reisterstown Road late Friday night. Police said he was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Earlier that morning, a 23-year-old man was injured in a shooting in the 4800 block of Cordelia Avenue. Baltimore police said officers later located the victim at an area hospital and determined he had been shot on Cordelia Avenue.

The series of shootings has raised concern among Baltimore residents, particularly because the incidents occurred across different neighborhoods and involved victims ranging in age from teenagers to adults.

Police investigations into the individual shootings remain ongoing. Authorities have not indicated that all of the incidents are connected.

Anyone with information about any of the shootings is asked to contact Baltimore police or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
