Easy Air Fryer Recipes

Loren Moran

Lately it seems that you hear of more and more people getting air fryers and sharing their recipes with the world. Not only is using an air fryer a healthier alternative to fast food, or maybe even some home cooked meals, but it is also way faster than most forms of cooking. I’ve found it interesting in my time having one of these machines that they can cook just about anything too. Here are some of the most interesting air fryer recipes that I have found:

  • Chocolate chip cookies2 sticks (1 cup) unsalted butter, 3/4 cup granulated sugar, ¾ cup packed dark brown sugar, 1 tablespoon vanilla extract, 2 large eggs, 1 teaspoon kosher salt, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 2 ⅓ cups all-purpose flour, 2 cups chocolate chunks or chips, ¾ cup chopped walnuts, cooking spray. After adding all of the ingredients together and forming cookies you set the air fryer to preheat at 350 degrees for 5 minutes. After that the cookies should be good to go in the air fryer and should be done in about 5 minutes.

  • Chicken wings– 1 ½ pounds of chicken wings, flats, and drummettes separated, 1 teaspoon kosher salt, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper. Place the wings in the air fryer and turn on to 380°F. Cook for 25 minutes, removing the basket and tossing the wings with tongs every 5 minutes. After 25 minutes of cooking, the wings should be tender and cooked through. Increase the heat to 400 degrees and cook until the skin is crispy and golden brown, 5 to 8 minutes more.

  • Hot dogs– place hot dogs in the air fryer basket, close the air fryer and set it to 400 degrees, cook for 5 minutes, if you want the buns toasted place the hot dog into the bun and put it back into the air fryer for 2 minutes, remove and enjoy. This recipe I found interesting because I did not know you could cook hot dogs in an air fryer. I actually tried it out with my family earlier this week and they were really good.
