Over the course of a few weeks, the advanced art students and Mrs. Smith made their way to downtown Waverly. Here, they used their skills to create artwork in the form of street art, they painted crosswalks. When walking on Market Street, you can see their work. Going between the First National Bank and Beast and Bottle, there is a pig, chicken, and cow walking across the street in bright colors. Between the First National Bank and the apartments, there is a label saying “The First National Bank” in green and white. From the apartments to the Courthouse, there are the hands of justice. Between the Courthouse and Beast and Bottle is an illusion piece, it looks as if the blocks are floating in the air.
